While Trash the Dress - an activity that allows women to feel liberated while 'ruining' their wedding gown - is currently taking the world by storm, two women in Canada found a new way to make their wedding dresses look worn.
According to the Toronto Sun, Trish Martin and Sarah Maxwell, who both hail from the Ontario area, indulged in the fad by playing a game of paintball.
"I don't plan on washing it afterwards," Maxwell told the news outlet. "I'm leaving the paint on it and I'm leaving the grass stains on it. I'm going to show my grandkids."
The two former brides spent their afternoon playing a variety of games while sporting their gorgeous dresses and comfortable sneakers.Andy Morrison, owner of Splat Paintball, where the festivities took place, admitted he was a bit shocked to see the ladies gallivanting around his field.
"I'm surprised they could actually run in them," he told the news source. "It was really entertaining to watch."
Brides who want to partake in this trend don't have to pick up a paintball gun. Women can take Trash the Dress photos while wading in the ocean or walking around a big city.
